In 1985 our family gave up the catering industry and began the production of dried pasta. The task was not an easy one even then, because this work is very machine- and instrument-demanding therefore it's a considerable investment. In the beginning we rolled the pasta between rollers, it occurred that we formed the noodles, squares, "csu-sza" (Hungarian pasta), "csiga" pasta with hand.
We attained with dogged and persistent work that we were able to increase the manufacturing capacity year by year.
Our primary consideration was the good quality, only after this could we think about other things.
By 1987 the improvement became unavoidable, we changed the traditional machines that worked with rollers for press-machines. By this step we made possible for our enterprise to balance the production and the market demand. We bought modern contactor vehicles in accordance with the hygienic rules to be able to carry to shops, similarly to well-tried and prepared plan of the past years.
The information about us spread fast among the tradesmen, because we transported on time and sometimes in singular cases too. It isn't otherwise these days. We transport to the shops of the chain of Auchan, to supermarkets, to the kitchen of schools, to restaurants, to hotels and to smaller grocery stores too. We train ourselves continuously, the important domains of technology are controlled by professionally educated people. The new generation inside the family already stands for the manage-ment of the company.
These stimulate us to continue the developments, to adjust to the demands of the present day, to live up to the new challenges.
Therefore in 2001 we started the greatest project ever been. We changed the old press-machines for modern, up-to-date machines, called 'Italpast', and the semi-automatic packing-machines for auto-matic machines, with which the safety of foodstuff (pasta) has grown extremely. The basic area of the factory grew from 240 m 2 to 860 m 2.
The factory has adopted the HACCP quality insurance method since 1996 and we have built up the ISO 9001:2001 and the ISO 14001:1997 quality direc-tion method.
The atmosphere in our team is excellent. Besides the members of the family 20 employees help the work of the company.
Contrasted with other companies the pasta is made, packed and transported by young men in our factory. Their average age is 26. They feel well, we assure their excellent social conditions. Occasionally they form football teams and it's a great pleasure when the producer-team or the packing-team wins the cup.
